留意是安裝了 totem-gstreamer 或是 totem-xine, 可以打「dpkg -l totem-*」:

看到 totem-gstreamer 前有 ii 表示你安裝了 totem-gstreamer , 按理只要安裝好 GStreamer 的 plugin 就可以播放影片。

有關 codec 在以下幾個package:

gstream0.10-ffmpeg
gstream0.10-plugins-good
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse

即是打「sudo apt-get install gstream0.10-ffmpeg gstream0.10-plugins-good gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse」。

除 totem 外, vlc 亦可以播放影片, 可以在『應用程式』(Application) >『添加和刪除』(Add/Remove) 在搜尋打 vlc 安裝 vlc。
